Did you know Datchet has a hedgehog rescue group?

We have been in touch with a Datchet-based hedgehog rescue group called Huffyhogs Hedgehog Support.

At the fete many residents told us that they do still see hedgehogs in Datchet. However, they are running out of places to nest and hibernate. Sadly a lot of them suffer spine and leg injuries from accidents with gardeners who don't check properly before cutting back hedges etc. 
 
We are planning to hold a hedgehog house-building day early in Autumn for families in Datchet.
