For a village smaller than Datchet, Eton Wick have surely been putting in a massive effort to clear and enhance their green spaces for their residents. This is shown by the picture to the left, which has captured Eton Wick Waterways Group and local volunteers clearing up on the Boveney near the recreaction ground. This is some fantastic work that will benefit the river's wildlife and the village all year round, especially during flood season. If you would like to get involved, email  info@etonwickwaterways.com

Similarly, they are working hard on land too. A group of volunteers and one helpful pup, Bear, spent the day clearing up the whole of the newly mowed section of the recreation ground near the Boveney Ditch, as well as the section of the Tow path from the wooden bridge up to the lock .

We would love to do something similar in Datchet, so please get in contact if you would be interested in participating or have any ideas where it would be most effective.
